My Background

I grew up in Van Horne, Iowa and attended Iowa State University.

I’ve been in the banking industry for over 19 years and started my career at the teller line in a small community bank in Eastern Iowa. I have enjoyed working in all areas of the bank and have received my education from on the job experience throughout the years. I’ve held various positions within the bank including loan processing, personal banking and consumer lending

My Position and Job Requirements

As AVP-Deposit Manager of our Grimes office, I assist customers with opening accounts, consumer lending, management of teller staff and helping all customers with a variety of their banking needs.

My Approach

I take pride in providing excellent customer service on a daily basis! I grew up in a small town and have retained the sense of community involvement, support and strong values. When I was a child, I had a savings account and loved going to the bank and having my favorite banker greet me with a friendly smile, encourage me with saving my money, and care about me as a person. Banking is more than processing transactions, it is creating customer relationships in a caring environment.
