My Background

I grew up in Stockport, Iowa, a small town in northern Van Buren County. I attended Iowa State University where I received a Bachelor's in Farm Operations. I have also attended the Iowa Bankers Association (IBA) Commercial Lending School and I am a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Madison WI.

I started in banking in 1977 as a Loan Assistant and have held positions as an Ag Loan Officer/Commercial Lender in banks in Iowa and Minnesota.

My Position and Job Requirements

I am a Senior Vice President for Commercial Banking and develop business as well as provide service to our existing customers.  I assist in managing the Ogden office along with Jean Mallicoat .

My Approach

I have 25 years of farming experience as well as almost the same number of years in banking.  I have experience in financing row crop operations as well as livestock including turkeys.  I have guaranteed lending experience with FSA and the Small Business Administration.
