My Background

I grew up on a grain and livestock farm near Radcliff, Iowa and I attended Radcliffe Community Schools. I have a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business with a minor in Farm Management from Iowa State University. 

I have been with VisionBank for 3 years and have been in the banking industry for 24+ years. I have worked for a variety of sizes of banks, but I have always focused on community banking.

My Position and Job Requirements

As Market President, I am responsible for all aspects of deposits and lending activity, as well as directing business development, staff development, customer satisfaction, community leadership, promoting corporate culture, goals, and objectives within the Ames and Huxley market.

My Approach

Even though my position requires great detail, I try to look at the big picture of the request and ask myself, does this make sense? Does this seem like the right thing to do for the bank and the customer? If so, then I  will do everything I can do to helping/assisting our customer with their need/request.
