My Background

I grew up in, and still reside in, West Des Moines. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Grand View College in Des Moines (now known as Grand View University).  I have also completed many Risk Management Associates and American Bankers Association commercial lending courses and recently attended the Iowa Bankers Associations’ Agriculture Credit School at Iowa State University.

I have been with VisionBank since December 2011 and have been in the banking industry for 15+ years. I have held positions from consumer & mortgage underwriting & lending to commercial underwriting & lending.  I have been a Commercial Banker since 2010; prior to this I held the title of Senior Commercial Underwriter.

My Position and Job Requirements

As a Commercial Banker at our Grimes office, I specialize in lending to small-to-medium-sized businesses.  Specialties in commercial lending include: Commercial & Industrial loans, Commercial Real Estate loans, Multi-family loans, Agriculture, and SBA lending.

My Approach
